About Dropbox

The Caltech Financial Aid Dropbox allows you to securely send files to the Caltech Financial Aid office.

After 96 hours, Dropbox will delete your uploaded file, and the URL will become invalid.

Conceptual design

We made Dropbox to satisfy the following requirements:

• Should not require the use of a special client.
• Should be unattractive as an illicit file distribution center.
• Should not require people to have local accounts or to authenticate at all.
• Should be usable under all operating systems.
• Transferred files should be accessible only to the intended recipient.
• Should clean up after itself.
